About Me
Welcome. It's great to have you here! Whatever brought you here, I’m here to support you.
A little bit about me — I'm an Iranian who grew up in Sweden, and now I live in Los Angeles with my two dogs, Psyche and Opium (named after the Greek goddess and her journey to the underworld). I’m obsessed with world mythologies, storytelling, dream analysis, and adventure! More than anything, I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and learning about different parts of the world. I’m a big foodie and down to try almost anything. I dream of becoming a traveling therapist, though I’m still figuring out what that would even mean. If you have any ideas, do share. I would love to hear them!
What I’m most interested in is understanding where our inner patterns come from. When something keeps happening—an impulse, a reaction, a voice that cuts in automatically—I focus on understanding its origin before rushing to stop it, because these patterns usually developed for a reason. When did it first show up? What was it protecting you from? Whose voice does it sound like? And what has it needed all along that it never received? Approaching things this way helps ensure the issue is actually worked through, rather than tucked away only to resurface later in a different form.
I believe change happens when we stop fighting these parts of ourselves and start listening to them. When we understand the role they once played, they tend to soften, reorganize, or step back on their own. Therapy, for me, is about helping people make sense of their inner world with honesty and compassion, so their choices feel less driven by old patterns and more aligned with who they are now.
